Weight Management

Residents of Preston, Chorley and South Ribble with a BMI between 25 – 35 are encouraged to engage in our weight management programme designed to improve the health and wellbeing of the local community.

ABL’s experienced group of Lifestyle Coaches are here to help clients with a BMI between 25 and 35. Reviewing eating habits with information on how to maintain weight loss through lifelong lifestyle and behavioural change, our 12 week programme looks at strategies for long term weight management.

Sessions are designed to include a blend of nutrition advice and activity to suit the needs of the group. Focusing on breaking down some of the barriers that in the past may have prevented people from achieving their goals, we aim to move clients away from the confusing messages of the quick fix fad diet and focus them on setting realistic and achievable goals in a none restrictive way. Group sessions will be held at community venues at various times throughout the week.
